Oh geez, I'm woefully behind on everything lately...

I made a birthday card for my grandmother, a hand painted robin on stonehenge paper...you can't tell, but it's double sided and stitched along the bottom and open along the top to form a pocket to contain little birthday wishes :)

Also, Ken over at Boxed in Design was kind enough to ask me to answer a few questions - you can read about 'em here!

Oh hey!

I made another Wallpaper for Erika Brouwer's Canvas Collective. Featuring a little ghostly...man...thing. I made another surprise one, but you'll just have to wait until that comes out, ho ho.

If you're interested in participating, contact Erika! She's a super gal. And she lives in GERMANY. (irrelevant information)

Late Wallpapers

Oh man, I totally forgot to post these up when they were made, but here goes!

I made a couple wallpapers for my friend Erika Brouwer's wallpaper blog, Canvas Collective. The blog has really taken off since its beginnings and is boasting an outta control lineup in the coming days. She's open to submissions, so check it out either to download or contribute!

l'ONF

I made a visit to the National Film Board last week, and managed to finally catch Madame Tutli Putli. Turns out, you can now view the whole thing online.

Madame Tutli Putli (Thank you, CBC)

It is so, so beautifully made; the attention to detail is just insane. I was really not expecting it to be so dark in subject matter, but it's a gorgeous short film all the same.

Boston, the Big Picture

The Big Picture + Earth Hour

Ryan turned me on to Boston.com's The Big Picture a while back. They always have these amazing photo sets with the added bonus of long strings of vicious comments that come afterward.

They recently did a series of photos based on Earth Hour, where you can click on the photos and it will show you a before and after the lights were turned out.

Las Vegas! Insane!

Cake must be eaten with a SPOOOOOOOOOON

No art today, just a link I was put onto by Sir Rob Fox over at Paper Bag.

Cake Wrecks

Apparently these are all paid for cakes. Some of them made me laugh until I hurt inside. JUST CLICK THE DAMN LINK.

These people wear nicer clothes than me.

I love street fashion, but find the likes of fruits a little much sometimes.

If you also have a passing interest for street fashion, you should check these out!

The Sartorialist

A more high-fashion look at street fashion; a lot of the photos are of gorgeous people wearing gorgeous clothes in fashionable cities like New York, Paris, and Milan, and then he throws in old italian barbers, or how high street fashion looks in New Delhi right now. Neat pickings!

Hel Looks

Street fashion from Helsinki, Finland. It runs the gamut from pretty to weird to what-just-happened. Some of it leaves me pretty baffled that people actually leave the house looking like this, but then again, I have no sense of adventure.
